Molten zinc is a light grey actual zinc metal exterior, not a faux finish. Several layers of molten zinc are applied to the exterior of the tub and it is slightly brushed. The appearance is stunning. Molten zinc does not rust and will turn slightly darker grey over the years. To clean, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Don't use bleach or any abrasive cleaners on the surface as these will damage the zinc.
