Product Details
This fabulously styled hand burnished natural finish single slipper cast iron tub will become the centerpiece of your bathroom. The Kelso is an absolutely stunning package. The exterior of the tub shows all the production marks including the graphite lines formed during the 'chill' process of molding. Occasionally you will see hues of deep, dark reddish-browns from the natural iron. Thin narrow lines up to one millimeter deep crisscross the tub surface which itself is between seven to 9 millimeter thick.
Finishing
After the burnishing process is complete, the surface is given four coats of high grade clear lacquer to seal the metal and prevent any oxidation from occurring. The surface is very simple to maintain and clean, just a simple wipe with a dry cloth. The interior of the tub is hand applied enamel. As a result, slight undulations will appear on the surface and this will add to the individual character of every Penhaglion Hand Finished bathtub.
