'The Portchester' 67" Cast Iron Large Rectangular Clawfoot Tub with a HAND BURNISHED Natural Iron Exterior plus Drain

Product Details
A beautiful double ended large rectangular clawfoot bathtub is one of the roomiest tubs we make. Great for either one or two bathers, just lots of room to soak. This tub is one of the deepest tubs in our product line. While it is a large tub, it retains a huge amount of elegance simply from its unique transitional shape. It is further enhanced by a hand burnished natural finish exterior. Every cast mark of the tub body is exposed to see before being coated with four layers of clear lacquer to protect and maintain the finish. Occasionally you will see hues of deep, dark reddish-browns from the natural iron. Thin narrow lines up to one millimeter deep crisscross the tub surface which itself is between seven to 9 millimeter thick.

Finishing
After the burnishing process is complete, the surface is given four coats of high grade clear lacquer to seal the metal and prevent any oxidation from occurring. The surface is very simple to maintain and clean, just a simple wipe with a dry cloth. The interior of the tub is hand applied enamel. As a result, slight undulations will appear on the surface and this will add to the individual character of every Penhaglion Hand Finished bathtub.
