'The Bardsey59' 59" Cast Iron French Bateau Tub with Burnished Aluminum Exterior

Product Details
This is a 59" French Bateau tub with a hand burnished natural aluminum exterior. The Bardsey59 has a cast iron enamel interior and an aluminum exterior with an air gap in between, this is excellent for heat retention. The exterior shell is a hand burnished aluminum finish that shows some faint burnishing and finishing marks. The exterior is left untreated and over the years the aluminum will naturally oxidize and darken somewhat. This darkening process can be reversed if preferred by light polishing.

Finishing
The untreated aluminum exterior is very easy to maintain and keep clean. Just a wipe with a soft cloth will remove most marks. If there are any small staining marks from handling, a little heavier pressure on the soft cloth will remove these. The interior of the tub is hand applied enamel. Both the tub interior and exterior are hand finished, so no surface is perfectly flat or 100% even. Each Penhaglion Hand Finished tub is one of a kind.
