Any Solid Color 'Kingsmead-66' 66" Cast Iron Plinth Bateau Tub with Drain
The 66” Plinth Bateau is a newly designed tub with the most minimal appearance of all of our tubs. It encompasses a delightful bateau shaped wider roll top lip and a very simple outward facing attached straight plinth base. It has excellent depth to overflow for a really deep soak. It is supplied with a fabulous faucet and matching drain.

Product Details
Tub exterior can be supplied in any solid color at NO UP-CHARGE. We match every paint color on the market from any paint supplier and offer sheen finishes in eggshell and high gloss.
This is our 66” Plinth Bateau tub in high gloss Penhaglion Aquatint Blue. At 66” long, this beautiful bathtub offers a well sized bathing space. The interior size and excellent depth to overflow make the 66” Plinth Bateau bathtub suitable for a good sized single bather or perhaps two smaller bathers.

Finishing
We use a high-grade automotive spray paint system for the exterior of our painted bathtubs. As a first step, we smooth the exterior cast iron surface of the bathtub. From there, we apply two coats of high grade epoxy primer that is then ready to accept four layers of automobile grade single stage paint. The final two coats are specifically prepared to achieve either an eggshell or high gloss lacquer finish to match the client’s personal choice. As a final step, we wet sand and polish to produce a flawless exterior. The finish is both beautiful and simple to maintain. Just a wipe with a soft cloth and soapy water will remove any stain.
