'The Abingdon' 68" Cast Iron French Bateau Tub with Grey Blended Exterior

Product Details
A very elegant French Bateau cast iron tub with straps and rivet bolts presented in an eggshell grey body with high gloss finish grey straps and rivet heads. The exterior of the tub has body straps with faux rivet heads to resemble early construction methods. The Abingdon is supplied with the Victorian drain with overflow and a lift off stopper.

Finishing
The exterior of the tub is a steel surface which has been cleaned and smoothed after forming and had an epoxy primer applied. Three coats of high grade single stage light grey paint are then applied. To complete, the straps and rivets are given three additional coats of high gloss single stage paint. The surface is very simple to maintain and clean, just a simple wipe with a dry cloth. The interior of the tub is hand applied enamel. As a result, slight undulations will appear on the surface and this will add to the individual character of every Penhaglion Hand Finished bathtub.
